The University of Texas Medical Branch, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatrics, is currently seeking a Director of Biostatistics.  This is a faculty position in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Associate or Full Professor level.  The Biostatistics section contains three doctoral level biostatistician and five master-level analysts.  The Director of Biostatistics will interact with a number of well-funded investigators conducting comparative effectiveness research.  The individual will also work with graduate and postdoctoral trainees and participate in the Ph.D. programs in our Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health.  The applicant should posses a PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics or Dr. P.H. in Biostatistics or related field.
