Position Context:

School of Public Health (FSPH) has built the first ever global
population data center of comparative global data on public
policies, equity, poverty, labor conditions, and health and
well-being outcomes. This data center makes it possible to
undertake rigorous, cross-country global comparative research
on how public and social policies are affecting health,
well-being, and life outcomes across the world.
The Policy Analyst will join this team and contribute to an

global resource to understand what countries are doing to

on public policies that have the potential to influence the
health and well-being of populations. To date, the research
team has gathered detailed information on labor conditions,
poverty reduction policies, gender, disability, education,
family, and constitutional rights globally. Currently, WORLD
is focused on preparing this data for dissemination and use by
a wide range of audiences, including, but not limited to,
researchers/academics, policy advocates, civil society, the
media, students and the public. The policy analyst will work
in collaboration with WORLD team members primarily to further
