Position Summary:
Epidemiology, the Microbiome and Women’s
Health: A position is available in the Department of
Epidemiology and Environmental Health, Women’s Health Research
Center. The postdoctoral associate will work on research
projects extending their skill set under the direction of the
Principal Investigator (PI), Dean Jean Wactawski-Wende.
Primary responsibilities include drafting and preparing
manuscripts with the PI from data sets on the oral microbiome
and health outcomes, women’s health, cancer, osteoporosis, and
menopause, and have an opportunity to lead and participate in
manuscripts for publication in scholarly journals. In
addition, this position may include primary data collection,
presenting research results at meetings, grant writing and
preparing applications for submission to funding agencies,
attendance at seminars and scientific meetings, and teaching
or training students. Applicants should be highly
self-motivated and have a track record of creativity and
productivity.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD in epidemiology or related field
