Job Description

The Connecticut Institute for Clinical & Translational Science (CICATS) at the UConn Health Center (UCHC) invites applications for a faculty-level biostatistician who will be involved in both independent and collaborative research on the Farmington, CT campus.

The successful candidate must have:
• A PhD in Biostatistics or Statistics with a strong interest in collaborative research, PhD in other quantitative disciplines may be considered;
• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and study design;
• Experience working in an academic health center in a collaborative research environment, preferably on NIH funded grants, is highly desirable;
• A record of peer-review publications in which the individual has played a key data analytic role; and
• Strong communication and writing skills, which are required for, grant development and manuscript preparation.

Successful candidate will be required to work with investigators in different areas of research and varying in their level of statistical experience.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
