Westat has an immediate opening for a senior researcher with expertise in public health research and quantitative evaluation methods. Individual should be experienced and competent in business development and project and staff management. A demonstrated track record in writing successful grant and contract proposals for Federal public health agencies is required. The successful candidate will be comfortable and effective in both participating in and leading teams to work on multiple, complex tasks in close coordination with others. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as analytic and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks are essential.  A Ph.D. in a public health or related field with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, and research methods with a minimum of 10 years of post-degree experience is required.
