of Family
Medicine/Institute
for
Population and Precision
Health in the Biological
Sciences Division is
searching for a
Research Assistant Professor
(RAP) whose primary activity
will be
academic research in
association with a
faculty
member or
team. The
RAP will
be
primarily
responsible for supporting
a large
precision health study
as part
of a
national effort, including coordination with
consortium partners, communication with the funding agency,
oversight of study related activities and metrics, community
partnerships, generation of study reports,
scientific
quality control
and
scientific strategy. The
appointee will work
collaboratively but also have the opportunity to create an independent research
effort with dedicated extramural funding
that
complements existing strengths
within
our academic
community. Publication record
and ability to obtain
extramural grants will
be
considered.
Applicants
must 1) have a doctoral degree or equivalent in Epidemiology
or Health Sciences or related disciplines, and 2) have
completed postdoctoral training prior to the start of
employment.
Applicants with
experience
working
with large
cohort
studies, epidemiologic study
designs, project management,
and
implementation of scientific
protocols preferred.
