The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor position in the tenure track and clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research.

The Division of Epidemiology in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics seeks highly qualified candidates with expertise in Patient-Centered Outcomes Research. Methodological areas may include mixed methods, decision analyses, and social epidemiology, among others, as they relate to patient-centered outcomes research.

The primary faculty appointment will be in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics or other School of Medicine departments, as appropriate.

Clinician Educator faculty will typically be focused on collaborative research as co-investigators.

Tenure track faculty will be principal investigators of extramurally funded research projects.

Responsibilities include participation in Penn’s Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics training programs, teaching and patient care activities in the faculty member’s clinical specialty (if relevant), and development of a research program.

Review of applications will begin in October 2017.
