One or
more postdoctoral fellows are sought to work with a
distinguished interdisciplinary team of researchers carrying
out psychiatric epidemiological research on posttraumatic
stress disorder, suicidal behaviors, and other mental health
outcomes in a number of community and clinical epidemiological
samples. Fellows will collaborate in the design of data
analysis plans, interpretation of results, and publication of
reports on prevalence, risk factors, and societal consequences
of mental disorders and suicidal behaviors. This position
offers unparalleled opportunities for early career
development, publication, grant writing, and supervision by
world leaders in psychiatric epidemiology. Several former
fellows have been successful in securing independent funding
during the course of their fellowships, including NIH Career
Development Awards.
Strong writing skills and ability to work in a
collaborative interdisciplinary environment are required.
Strong quantitative aptitude is also required. A minimum
two-year commitment is required. Clinical experience preferred
but not required.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling
basis when all materials are received. Start date is flexible
(e.g., immediate or Summer 2018). Please direct any questions
