The Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy in the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill is recruiting for two full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty positions. We are seeking outstanding individuals with expertise in pharmaceutical policy, comparative effectiveness, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, decision modeling, risk communication / decision making, or clinical informatics. Successful applicants will have a record of peer-reviewed publications, and evidence of research funding commensurate with position rank. At the time of appointment, the candidates must have a doctoral degree in health economics, health services research, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology decision sciences, health communication, clinical informatics, or related field. Individuals with the motivation and skills to translate scientific discoveries into practice and policy through innovative partnerships with health system leaders, policy makers and community liaisons are encouraged to apply. Beyond maintaining an extramurally funded research program, successful faculty will contribute to the Division’s graduate and professional educational programs as well as the overall mission of the School and University. The ability to participate in a collegial environment that fosters ongoing collaboration with local community partners, healthcare partners, and faculty from a wide variety of disciplines is essential.

The Eshelman School of Pharmacy is an internationally recognized leader in pharmacy practice, education, and research.
