ABOUT THE POSITION
Applications are invited for a full-time Assistant Member
(equivalent to Assistant Professor) of Epidemiology position
in the Center for Outcomes Research (COR) at JPS Health
Network. The COR comprises a collaborative group of
epidemiologists and biostatisticians involved in outcomes
research. Topical areas of interest include cancer, HIV,
hepatitis C virus, and maternal and perinatal outcomes,
particularly among socioeconomically disadvantaged
populations.
This institutionally-funded faculty position offers a unique
opportunity to pursue research for an understudied
population that faces considerable
health inequities. In addition to extensive opportunities for
primary data collection, available sources for secondary data

an independent research program, generate publications, and
obtain external funding as needed.
