CSR, Incorporated (a Northern Virginia consulting firm) is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Quantitative Research Analyst position to work in substance use epidemiologic research. Position responsibilities include working with a project team to develop study designs; conducting literature reviews; analyzing survey data; preparing technical reports, conference presentations, and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals; and providing research and analytic support and consultation. Requirements: Ph.D. in epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, psychology, health policy, or social sciences; 8+ years of demonstrated experience in the alcohol epidemiology field; expertise in addiction field or related subject area, experience in treatment is a plus; strong background in statistics and quantitative methods; knowledge and experience with public health and other datasets; experience in analyzing large datasets using SAS, SUDAAN, and/or Stata; ability to conduct studies independently and synthesize research findings from different studies; and strong skills in writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal communication. A research publication track record on relevant topics is required.
