Cancer Research Postdoctoral Fellow at Marshfield Clinic Research Institute

Marshfield Clinic Research Institute (MCRI) is the largest private medical research institute in Wisconsin. MCRI is the research division of Marshfield Clinic, an integrated multispecialty health care system with over 700 physicians and 50+ regional centers.  The MCRI Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Population Health (CCEPH) in collaboration with the MCRI Oncology Research Program is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to support and engage in research activities in cancer research. We have the resources and expertise to conduct cutting-edge cancer research, including a combined electronic medical record and extensive data warehouse archive; tumor, medication, immunization, and other clinical registries, and a large group of experienced epidemiologists, oncology researchers, and scientific support staff. MCRI is an active site in several national research networks relevant to cancer, including the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cancer Research Network, the NCI Community Oncology Research Program, and the Greater Plains Collaborative Network within the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) PCORNet. Research at MCRI is funded by a variety of federal agencies and other sources, including CDC, NIH, NIOSH, FDA, AHRQ, PCORI, and industry.

Marshfield is a city in central Wisconsin, about 2 hours north of Madison. It offers all the benefits of a small city lifestyle with convenient access to metropolitan areas, including Minneapolis-St. Paul, Milwaukee, and Chicago. The community offers a rewarding and low stress lifestyle with short commute times, an excellent school system, affordable housing, cultural events, and a variety of outdoor recreational activities. The Washington Post has ranked Marshfield High School as one of the best schools in Wisconsin. Recently voted the 5th best small city in which to raise a family, Marshfield combines small city charm with Midwestern hospitality.
