The
Department of Epidemiology, Graduate School of Public Health,
University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a full-time
faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor. The
position is available immediately and requires an advanced
degree in epidemiology or a related field with a highly
multidisciplinary background integrating epidemiology,
biostatistics, and preventive medicine with a strong
understanding of sleep epidemiology and health disparities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for independent
study design, data analyses, grant writing and writing reports
and manuscripts. The successful candidate will be part of a
research group involved in designing and analyzing
epidemiologic studies and clinical trials. The individual
would also be expected to supervise students and staff, assist
with teaching, lecture in courses, and mentor graduate
students.
This position is outside of the tenure stream and is funded by
grants from the National Institutes of Health. Salary will be
